It’s easier than you think. You don’t have to know anything about cooking or baking, it’s that easy, I’m telling ya.

Sometimes you just need to wrap up an old idea with an appealing cover to be able to sell it better to your children… That’s how I came up with the name “Sushi sandwich”, it worked really well!

Ready to wrap? lets get cooking 🙂

Ingredients:

1. Whole wheat tortilla

2. Mayonnaise

3. Sliced turkey breast

4. Sliced tomatoes

5. Lettuce leaves

Recipe tips:

Before starting assembling the sandwich, make sure you have all the ingredients and utensils you need. If you don’t like one of the ingredients switch it with a different ingredient or just take it out.

ParenTIP:

Rolling a tortilla is a fine motor skill, it will help your child control the coordination of muscular, bone and neurological functions to produce small, precise movements. You can start by teaching your child how to roll a plain tortilla before moving to roll  the sandwich.
